What’s New
See us at the Toowoomba Quilters “Quilts and Other Fine Arts” during Carnival week 22nd to 28th September. We have a merchant’s stand where you can talk to us about classes, view some of our beautiful batiks and other products or ask me to help with a machine technique. Visit www.toowoombaquiltersclub.org and check out the blog site while you are there.

The Avante long arm quilter and Sweet Sixteen are now in store and in use. Come in and have a play on these machines, very exciting. These are very popular machines for the home enthusiast to the home business. Join the many who bring their quilts in and finish them on this machine, the hire fee is minimal and all users enjoy being in control of their creations from start to finish.

 What’s been happening:

Complete your PHD at Mks. That's Projects Half Done or commonly known as UFO's. Meeting on Fridays from 9.30 to 1pm. Lots of fun and inspiration. I even manage to get some of mine completed.

We had a lace doiley workshop with Anita James and this was a very successful day and the prelude to many more.

Our learn to sew classes have been going well, I have now incorporated a ‘Meet your Machine’ lesson in the first sewing Block. Age or gender are no restriction.

Our range of craft fabric is growing and we are happy with the response to these fabrics, some interesting Lap Top Bags and Garden quilts have been created with them.

In-store quilting service. Quilt your own projects using our QBOT automated quilter on our great Imperial Frame. This is the way to own your quilt from beginning to end.
